Capelet

                                                                  Seed stitch Capelet

Seed stitched capelet with pom -pom ties or brooch.

Cold weather is gone, some warm days are arriving quickly but sometimes we need something light just to cover our shoulders from the cold breeze that is still in the air. Or maybe the first days of fall are arriving but it’s not cold enough for a sweater, in those moments a capelet is the perfect piece to go. I got this pattern from a magazine that I no longer have. It is no my own creation, I altered few thing and it came out perfect.

It’s for medium size , 51″ wide and 13″ long from neck to edge,  if you want it smaller I recommend to use sports weight yarn and needles US #5. I am petite small and the second one was perfect for me.
